Are there any reliable websites....

....where you can find the real, factual information as to what kind of tobacco is used in these cigars? It frustrates me no end when a website just says "Dominican and / or Honduran tobacco". Aren't there like dozens of different types of tobacco? How will I know which cigars I'm likely to like if there's no tobacco content information? Where do you guys find the info for your reviews? What does "toothy" mean? I see that all the time. "Toothy wrapper".

Might want to pick up a cigar encyclopedia, they usually have that information in them. CI sells them, check it out and see if it has the answers you are looking for

I stumbled across a website today called CigarCyclopedia.com. They may have some more info on tabaccos. Wasn't all I was looking for at time so I moved on rather quick.

You can always try the manufacturer's website. Some of them are pretty thorough about their cigars details.
For toothy, check out this thread: http://cigar-review.com/index2.php?o...ewtopic&t=4658 It's under a post from Python.

When I first started off with this hobby, I got a book called, 'The Idiots Guide to Cigars' by Tad Gage. It has a lot of useful info in it and helped me out a lot.

Make sure you read it with a grain of salt though as some of the stuff is just the authors opinion.
