The Dream Lineup

My cigar smoking buddy and I are going up to Lake of the Woods, Ontario next week for a week of walleye and musky fishing. I'm trying to plan out a week of cigar smoking, thinking I'm only going to smoke one or two cigars per day. We're going to have some mighty fine smokes to smoke, here's what my line up looks like:

Friday: Ghurka Vulcan

Saturday: Romeo y Juliet Churchill en Tubo / Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Cameroon

Sunday: Cuesta-Rey Centro Fino / Arturo Fuente Anejo

Monday: Romeo y Juliet Churchill en Tubo / Montecristo (brown label)

Tuesday: Cuesta-Rey Centro Fino / Partagas Black Label

Wednesday: Romeo y Juliet Churchill en Tubo / Arturo Fuente Opus X

Thursday: H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon / Arturo Fuente God of Fire Carlito Double Robusto

Friday: Mystery Cuban cigar / Arturo Fuente God of Fire Don Carlos

WELL? WHADDA YA THINK?

What would YOUR eight day dream cigar lineup look like?

oh god....OH GOD.........OH GOD!

Wow, that was good.

Only day that I might change is #6. Only because I have not had the Dona Flor Selecao, but I assume it fits the tastes. Gosh, I gotta think about this one for my own list....

Your line-up looks to be rather "Maduro heavy".

You Maduro whore, you.

(I'd like to try to insure that I don't soil my undergarments from smoking too many massive cigars. Nooby, remember?)

Nice line up. I smoke cigars while fishing all the time, in rivers, boats, whatever, but I usually save the super premium smokes for post fishing, evening beers. Wind, rain, fish slime and splashing pike and f-up a good cigar. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, it DOES depend on what kind of fishing you're doing. If I'm sittin in a boat or along shore, I go for it. If I'm wadin in the river, I do wait to fire up a smoke til I'm done cuz with my luck, I'd drop the thing in the water

Absolutely true.

I'm probably not going to smoke ANY cigars out in the boat.

Just for after (walleye) dinner puffin' and drinkin'.

Very impressive line up!!

I'mnot sure what mine line up would look like, but I imagine it would consist of: RyJ Habano Reserve, Perdromo Habano, HdN Antano, HdM 1066, RP Fusion and a few "higher ends" like: Diamond Crown Maximus, La Auroa Perfecio (sp).

I have no idea what my line up would be until I smoked them. There are too many cigars that I would want to smoke and would have a brain hemorrhage trying to decide on a line up before hand .

Gotta agree. A couple of years ago I was drifting nymphs on the Provo river in January, had a Padron 7000 in my mouth, and went down to my neck in freezing cold water after slipping on a rock. I got water inside my waders and all the way down to my toes but managed to keep the cigar dry and also saved an expensive fly rod. Made for a cold/wet drive home, but I sure as hell enjoyed the rest of my smoke
