I never tried saving a cigar for later, I always stay to finish it. If I know I am short on time, I usually have some 4"X38 tins of my favs.

Thanks again for the tips guys!

My tupperdor plans fell through.
Stopped by my usual b&m, The Cedar Box in Lee's Summit, to pick up a hygrometer and was slapped with sticker shock when I learned the cheapest one they had was $30 and had no manufacturer's marks at all. I considered asking for some empty boxes and just using some beads or a humidifier without a hygrometer, but was surprised again to find out the empty boxes were for sale in the front . . .

Dishing out 40-50 bucks for tupperdor setup didn't seem very appealing. I think buying cigars to smoke in the next couple of days or following armod's lead will work well until I've tried enough to develop a taste. I'd rather have 10 or so cigars than overpriced humidor accessories.

I think I may drive out to Outlaw Cigar in Kansas City soon to see if they have more reasonable prices.

You can find much better deals on humi's and accessories online. Try cigarbid, thompsons, cheaphumidors, etc. Digital hygrometers $15-25, humi's all ranges; my 125 ct was won on cbid for $40.

As much as I'd like to take advantage of online prices for accessories (and sticks too), I don't have a credit card, my mom is a bit of a mail nazi (and allergic to smoke, driving her extreme disapproval), and I'm under 21 so a few sites wouldn't even let buy.

The joy of being 19 and commuting to college . . .
