I really like the Perdomo Champagne as far as mild cigars go. Like Aces, I normally would not consider anything mild; I'm past that point in my smoking selection. This particular Perdomo is LOADED with flavor which is very uncharacteristic of mild smokes.

As for the rest of the Perdomo lineup, I find they really need to sit for some time. Like the Partagas Spanish Rosado, they develop nicely with a year of time. I wish I could age 'em longer, but I'm a smoker, not a collector.

Point well taken.

The Perdomo I chucked was a Perdomo Reserve La Tradicion Cabinet Series P. It was horrid. There again, so was the Aroma de Cuba I smoked, and I'm going to give those another whirl.

Looks like alot of votes for the 5 Vegas Gold.

Might have to get me another humidor.
If you want, PM me your address and I'll hook you up with a few 5 Vegas Gold torpedos.

Went back through receipts and the offending Perdomo for me was the Estate Selection Imperio. Hmmm... maybe should have left them in the humi for a couple of years, huh Salty.

I'll second or third the Vegas gold. Smoked a few of these and they're great (for milds). Also recommend CAO Gold (very buttery smooth) or the Montensino (sp) also a great mild smoke.

Hard to find milds in my humi, but here's a few:
CAO Gold
Cuvee No. 151
Cusano P1 (nice-n-mild, great price)
5 Vegas Limitada
Helix Remix (try this tasty treat-it's delightful!)
Padron Anni '64 (medium, but wonderful)

Cusano 18 Double Conn (Natural)

I keep coming back to this cigar because it is mild, yet very flavorful and smooth.

I like the Robusto size.

OH NO.

THE LAST TIME I GAVE OUT MY ADDY I GOT THE CRAP BOMBED OUTTA ME.

Thanks for the offer though. I see Cigars International has the 5 Vegas Golds on sale. As soon as I can free up some room in my humidor, I'm going to pick some up (along with a whole bunch of other cigars I can't afford, I'm sure).

Mild cigars suck !!!!!!!!!!

But if you want a light and fluffy stogie with wonderful flavor and pretty lite, I would reccomend Zino Platinum series by Davidoff. I dont know what they say they are but they are mild, and really good.

I think Madmike also likes these.

Actually, the ESV '91 is one of my least favorite Perdomos. I don't mind the power, but the peppery smoke irritates my nose when I try to blow some smoke out of it (this usually helps me taste the cigar even more.) I'm sure if you let 'em rest for a few years, they would drastically change. Like I stated above, I'm a smoker not a collector. After 1 year in the humidor, all smokes are fair game. Maybe some day when I get a government bailout, I'll take the money they give me and buy 100 boxes of smokes and let 'em sit for 10 years.
