I completely agree. I have no interest in "collecting" cigars. I have some friends that recoiled in horror when they learned my buddy and I smoked the twisted Cuban Partagas. WTF are you supposed to do with them? Sit there and look at them in your humidor? (They were SUPERB, BTW.)

I currently have no more Perdomos. I'm not even sure where I got the one I had. People give me cigars all of the time, I'm not really sure why. Perhaps it's simply my passion for my new hobby. I like talking about cigars and comparing impressions.

But the impression I got of the ONE Perdomo I smoked was similar to yours. It was very peppery and it burned my nose. And THAT was right after I LIT the damn thing.

Sounds like a Pepin more than a Perdomo.

Are you implying I don't know my Pepins from my Perdomos?

Bub?

(Actually, I've never had a "Pepin" of any kind, that I am aware of.)

Na, just saying Pepins are notoriously spicy. Especially the 601 line

Aces, you hit the nail on the head. The ESV '91 tastes more like a DPG smoke than a Perdomo.
