Favorite Mild / Mellow Cigars

I have now amassed myself quite an impressive collection of cigars (by my standards). I have observed, however, that my collection is lacking in mild, mellow smokes. I like a big old horse-choker as much as the next guy, but sometimes, I'd like something just a little more mild, a little easier smoking.

Any suggestions for mild, mellow smokes that are still high quality? What should I be looking for? Cameroon wrapper? Sumatran wrapper? What kinds of filler?

My favorite cigar that I have right now that I consider "mild & mellow" are Don Lino Africa. And the Romeo y Julieta Churchill en Tubos were excellent too.

Best cigar I've found for early morning with coffee is the 5Vegas Golds. Great mild/medium smoke IMO.

I believe I am experiencing a degree of "palate burn-out" with the fuller bodied, more powerful cigars. I need to change it up a little bit, me thinks.

I appreciate all of your suggestions.

I like the CAO Gold, CAO Gold Maduro, R&J 1875, Perdomo Lot 23, Oliveros Nautica, and Griffin Conn. All very mild smokes but very good in my book.

Had the same thing with a particular model Perdomo all from the same sampler, attempted to smoke and chucked two of them, tossed the others to a friend here who seemed to enjoy them. Not sure which they were but had a band identical to the ESV 91 sans the Vintage 91 label at the bottom. Before and since I've smoked many Perdomo's of other blends that I love. Sooooo..... give them another try.

Had a similar experience with a single Partagas Spanish Rosada that came from a sampler. OSB took me under his wing, sent me a well aged and well cared for PSR that was absolutely delicious.

Point well taken.

The Perdomo I chucked was a Perdomo Reserve La Tradicion Cabinet Series P. It was horrid. There again, so was the Aroma de Cuba I smoked, and I'm going to give those another whirl.

Looks like alot of votes for the 5 Vegas Gold.

Might have to get me another humidor.

As long as he doesn't post proof, I'm ok with that
