Here is an old glass one that I've had for 25 years or so.

Here is my grand dad's old pedestal ashtray. My dad had it chrome plated in the late 1930s while he worked at Allied Bronze in NYC. It's worn out again and needs another refinish. I was thinking of getting it a two tone powder coat job. It had an odd pink ashtray when I got it in the late 1970s from my dad. One of my kids broke it over the years I suppose. I need to find a replacement that will fit.

Action shot of mine...

Lotta times though, the ash ends up dropping on the floor before I remember to drop it in the ashtray

Well, I gave up trying to find that Cuesta-Rey Centro Fino ashtray with the pretty girl on it and bought this one instead:

http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prod ... -T&cat=146

I've got to tell you guys, this ashtray is HUGE. It measures 9-1/2" x 9-1/2" and weighs like FOUR OR FIVE POUNDS. (My shipment of five cigars + ashtray weighed SEVEN POUNDS).

What a beautiful ashtray.

And the smokes are damn tasty, too.

I'm such a noob that I don't even have an actual ashtray yet. I've just been using this glass dish that I bought for a buck at Goodwill.

I did buy a Stinky online, but it was so big that I returned it. If I ever start hosting four man smoke-a-thons I might get one again, but I don't really need anything that big right now. I could probably go three months without emptying that thing at my present pace (it is DEEP).

I've now set my sights on another ashtray that I hope to get on Cbid soon. I'll post a pic when I do.
