I have noticed that CBid and CI have had some really great deals lately- large lots on special and somewhat lower prices. This, I suspect, is partly seasonal and partly economy induced. As the economy worsens at the same time as more cigars are coming to market, prices will continue to fall a bit.
If I recall correctly, the cigar tax was a 'floor tax". iI understood this to mean that sellers would be taxed on their current inventory at the time the tax goes into effect. if I am right about this, we can all anticipate some major sell-offs! |

I am kinda stocking up bit, not just because of the taxes, but kinda lookin for some good deals on auction to be ready for spring.

I think I'll call my best friend's sister, who now lives in the Dominican Republic, and ask her to find me a place to live.
To answer the original question... I live on $14k/year as a grad student, stocking up isn't an option. -JT
