Pepin-made cigar for Ashton?
Seems either a love-hate, from what I can remember about them being written about before.
I'm on the love side. Nic puro with lots of flavour.

I've smoked more than a few of these...excellant smoke! Never had any construction/burn issues and the flavor profile is consistant and top notch IMO.

Take the dive......

Never tried one, but $13 for a smoke is too steep for my blood.

Says the guy in NY with a heated garage....

Wife got me one for father's day this year. Smoked it, enjoyed it. Went to the Res to check it out, saw the price, said not doing this again. Too many other smokes for half that price that easily beat it.

I have only had a few but I think they are pretty friggin good cigars. Not an every day cigar for me because of the price, but you can get 5 packs on the web fairly reasonably. IMHO they are a full body cigar. I have a few resting in my humi now that I hope to stay away from for awhile.

The Torpedo was $8.50. The cigar was good. I'm going to try a few more. Great and different flavors.

$13 sounds high? Maybe some state tax kicking in there?

I love the San Cristobal. It's one of my favorites this year.

Here is my impression of the San Cris....

Me: Hey SC how is it going today? Ready for me to light you up?
SC: I AM SPICY!!!!!!!
Me: Wow. You really are...
SC: I AM SPICY!!!!!!!!!

It is better in person, but I think you get the idea. Just seemed like it was all spice & nothing to balance it out.
