Nah, after you accumulate to about a thousand cigars, you will slow down and be much more picky about your selection.

Even more so, you will join the dark side, if you haven't already.

Oh yeah,

We told you so

I'm in the same boat, Big D. My wife told me a couple of months ago that I have enough cigars for now, and she's right, but I just couldn't resist a 15 cigar Padilla sampler (for $2.50 a piece, how could I resist?), and a couple of 5 packs that arrived yesterday. Today, I couldn't resist bidding on a 20 cigar Perdomo Maduro Sampler. I'm kind of hoping I get out-bid on that one, or I could be in the doghouse when they show up a couple of days before Christmas. Plus, they won't fit in my humidor, I don't think.

It's the emails that pull me in. I have to summon the willpower to just hit delete before I open them.

I know what you mean. I find C-biditis to be especially bad when I bid on a couple of items and then decide I might as well save on shipping and get a few more. It's a vicious cycle I tell you. I really am out of room with two humidors full that's about 60 cigars. So if I stick to the once a week deal that I made with myself it should only take about a year to finish them off. I need to bomb some people so I can buy more cigars

I won a 20 cigar Padilla sampler for $44. Not too shabby.

Hello D. Everyone tell D hello. Hello D. We are here for you and we feel your pain. We, however, have a different way of dealing with the problem than other forums you might consult. Get a bigger freaking humidor!

I'm afraid I'm not too far behind you BigD. New RP 100 ct. humi showed up last night along with three 5-packs. The girlfriend was none too happy with Christmas so close.

OK.....everybody try to follow along with me.

Pull your pants down. Pull open the elastic band of your underwear. See that thing in there? That's called a "weener". If you HAVE a weener, that means YOU CAN BUY AS MANY CIGARS AS YOU WANT. If you DON'T have a weener, or if your weener is very small, you must comply with the wishes of your girlfriend / wife.

Now.....that has worked out so well for me that I'm currently DIVORCED.

But it also means that I can buy a new humidor and a whole load of cigars for myself for Christmas.

I go through periods where I'll bid on a crapload of cigars, then leave it alone for awhile. My 250-count humi is full, as well as my coolerdor, so I think I'm full up for awhile. I was hiding the expense from my wife by using my ****** account, but I just bought a new bamboo rod, so I've wiped that out. Gotta be careful for awhile until I resotre the ****** acct

Ahhh BigD I feel your pain! I find the best way to stay off the auction site all together! Not to give into temptation to see what is up and what the bids are, that way I can't bid! I am single so no wife to stop me but When those bills come in, it is a real eye opener! Also find the willpower to delete those emails! Or you could always get sick and have surgery like me, that will stop you for a bit.

But know we are all here for you, but another addict really isn't much support!

Nice score, Anton! I would've gotten in on that one if I hadn't just won the 15 stick Padilla sampler. I may not have a lot of willpower, but I have SOME.

Fortunately most days I am home before my wife so I can put the new cigars away and hide the evidence before she comes home. Also, one cigar looks like another to her so its not like shes going to be taking inventory of my humidors anytime soon.

Credit statements are another matter...
