I had to go with robusto size for time constraints and all that jazz.

But i really like a 46/48 gauge too.

I am a fan of the perfecto, torp, and robusto. I chose robusto for the ring guage and overall smoking time.

With 22 votes in, I'm not surprised at 12 for Robusto. I AM surprised there is none for Toro? Probably too many "similar" sizes?

To me the Toro and most Torps are the same thing, just the torpedo is easy to hold in the teeth. I love them both if I have the time.

I'm still trying everything but agree that the time available & occassion dictate my choice of size & shape most often. I like a Robusto most often around the house (in the woods 70 mi NE of Houston). I have a 60 mi 1 way commute 14 x month where I will try out new sticks and shapes. Still don't know when I'm going to try that 9 1/4" MAXX. If it's anything like the crappy MAXX VISE I had the other morning, I may have to BOMB someone w/ these two. When we're w/ our m/c riding group a lot of times I like the large ring LFD L500

I did have a great chisel tip the other day given by a friend returning from 'special assignment' in the middle east, but I can't determine the origin yet. It was a light colored natty, about 44-47 ring x 5-5 1/2 length. Great draw, toasty, a little spicy, delicious till the moustache singed.

Perhaps. I actually thought Robusto and Toro would run pretty close together.

I tried to capture some of the more common sizes. In hindsight I probably could of combined a couple more.....
