What About Fresh Rolled?

Any thoughts or experiences with fresh rolled sticks, either from local shops or major brands? Saw some Perdomo fresh rolled bundles on Cbid tonight and was wondering how they compare next to local shops wares as far as character. There's several locals within 60-70 miles of me (I live 15 mi from a town of 8k) that have some decent (IMO) sticks that I really enjoy.

Would be nice to have them listed in the Shops thread to grab that local specialty when our group rides close by. We ride a lot and like our parking lot BS sessions in the evening after riding all day.

The Perdomo fresh rolled use well-aged tobacco, but I would leave them in the humi for a couple of months to mellow out a bit before smoking. I'd be afraid of ammonia aftertaste.

The Perdomo fresh rolled I smoked tasted like (don't know what) but it was the last Perdomo I smoked, gave away the other 19.

Maybe after a year or two they might be smokable, I could only finish 1/2 of 1

Up untill these, I smoked alot of Perdomos
