Bahia Blu????

Bahia Blu, anyone ever have these? They are cheap and the band is incredibly cheesy but I'm always looking for a cheap mild cigars that I can smoke in the workshop and not care if I get preoccupied and let it go out. They are on CI's One Day Deal for 1.25 each I'll take advantage of this if anyone has a decent opinion of them.

I bought them when they were on weekly special about two weeks ago, and i love them! They're pretty mild-med, and fairly smooth after a couple of weeks. They are a tad bitter at the start, but that generally goes away as you puff on it. I would say buy them, they are great for that price tag.

I actually think I am going to get another bundle.

Also look at the Sol Cubano Series B. You can get them on cbid for cheap. Like $0.65 each cheap.

After holding them in the humi for a little bit they shape up quite nicely for a bang around stick.

I do like the series B as well....It's a good stick for the workshop.

I bought a box of them, and I'm happy with them also. I'm also a fan of the Bahia '94.

Re: Bahia Blu????

Just lit one of these up (robusto), seems like a decently good cigar for the price - pretty well rolled, nice body, and smokes well with an even burn, even after I knocked it on the floor (oops). "Nuthin' fancy" in the flavor department, though.

But man is that band tacky. I felt relieved when I looked in my humi after removing it, and did not see it, lol.

Probably wouldn't buy it again (I'm maybe a 3x weekly smoker, so I can afford to stick to $4+ smokes), but I certainly don't regret it. If I did buy a box, I would most definitely remove each and every label before putting in the humi.

Re: Bahia Blu????

I've gone through a couple bundles of the toro size & found consistency to be biggest issue for this closeout.

Overall, it's a pretty decent every day smoke.
