The bundles definetely breathe in whatever they are wrapped in. Each time I drop a bundle into one of my humidors or coolidors they humidity starts to climb. This is a result of these being shipped wet, as we all know.

Clearly whatever the covering is allows the disipation and absorbtion of moisture. If, however, you are uncomfortable with leaving it on, it is always fun to unwrap, fondle and lovingly place them all in their correct spot.

Can't agree, I found a dead beetle under the cello after he had drilled his way out of the cigar, so the cello did help.

I've been long term storing these types of bundles for years.
I believe them to be ok to store like that.

I'm surprised that so many folk disagree.

Actually, it is a result of reducing the total air volume in the humidor which increases the humidifying efficiency of your humidier. It has an immediate effect.

I agree with Tom on this one. I don't get to buy as many boxes as I would like so I end up with bundles. I have seen no ill effects what so ever for leaving the bundles intact for extended periods of time.
