Month in Review

Well i Smoked a few cigars this month and thought that i would share:

the first was an Oliva Serie O Maduro- Nice draw, lots of smoke, Sweet maduro taste, with a nice little medium kick to it. Enjoyed it very much, the best of the Bunch. Only Draw back was the ash got a little wild on me, not bad just didnt sat firm like i like. Definitely will buy a few more

Next up was the Oliva Serie G Cameroon- Nice draw, good amount of smoke, taste was a little bitter for me, similar strength to the previous, same deal with the ash, guess you cant complain about ash when Oliva has a pretty good price on all their stogies. will try maybe one more to c about that taste

Oliva Serie G Maduro- this thing was just as nice as the O, i feel like the little bit in price difference augments everything just a little bit more in the O, definitly will have a few more of these to change it up

Oliva- Good Contruction on all these bad boys, was impressed considering the relatively low price

Next the Cao Brazilia- This thing lit nice, nice draw, good amount of smoke. the flavor on the other hand i didnt enjoy as much, it wasnt bad, it just wasnt my thing. To much earthy and leathery tones for me, the whole way through was the same leather and earth taste. Not bad jus want my cup of tea. The construction wasnt very good either, it looked nice but wanted to unravel after i clipped it. also had certain cracks. may get another at some point depending if my pallete changes

NUB cameroon 464- Finishing it as i type, construction is really nice on this. The draw disspointed me on this little guy, wasnt horrible, but was a little tight. Not enough smoke for my taste either, i had to double puff it to keep the way i like. As for the taste, that i did enjoy, i dunno which has the traditional cameroon taste to it, either the NUB or the Oliva, as those are the only ones i had, but i prefer NUB better. It was pretty smooth, i will pick up another and hopefully the draw is better.

The Partagas Black was the first i Smoked of the bunch and i already made a thread on that whole exprience..

Well there you have it, this gave me something to do while i semi enjoyed the NUB

Re: Month in Review

I had a CAO Brazillia and I agree with you. Mine had nice construction and a good draw. The earth and leather tones are not really my cup of tea.
