Trades Section?
Do you members think I should make a trades section or maybe a members classifieds section? I know there are things I have been looking for so I thought it might help. I just did not want to make a bunch of sections with very few threads in them. Your opinions please!

Sounds like a good idea to me.
In time, you may want to restrict access to it to only the members with x amount of time as a member. Keeps away people coming and going just looking to sell cigars and not contribute. |

I've had little luck with forums specifically for Selling/Trading/Buying. It seems that people only want to participate in exotic cigars transaction. I think it might be a good idea to have this section, but it will have limited traffic and only a few transactions compared to the number of posts.

I think waldoxx is on to a good idea with a trading room open only to members with some time behind them on the board. Might save a lot of hassle.

Great idea! Trades are a good way to for brothers to get to know each other and expand their collections. It is a lot of fun.

trades /box-pass sections are a great way to try-out cigars 'new-to-you';
also a good way for newbies to be introduced to a greater variety of smokes. and it should be interesting |

20 posts? Just a thought here.............
Anyone can do 20 posts in an afternoon so may I recommend that there be a combination of time on the site as a registered member who has posted on the intro board along with the number of posts. I'm a noob here and wouldn't expect anyone to jump into a trade with me this afternoon if I just joined this morning and did 20 posts.
Don't know if this can be done, but just my 2 cents. |

I myself wouldnt mind seeing a trades section, but maybe just lump it in a section will member sales and such. that will avoid having alot of sections with few posts in each
