Montecristro #2 (cuban) is to date the best cigar I have ever had.

Has anyone done a head to head comparison of all the different Monte #2's? I am intested how they all compare and how you would rank them.

Re: Montecristo #2

What do you mean by different monte2s? Like cuban to non-cuban?

Re: Montecristo #2

No comparision between the Cuban and non-Cuban versions of the standard MC #2.

NC - In my opinion this is an OK smoke but pretty flat, and overpriced.

Cuban - Is a good value unless aquired in Canada. The smoke is a great medium body with a great finish. I normally like a more full bodied cigar, but a cuban MC #2 is a classic.

Neither can be compared to the other, Joe I am also not a huge fan of either. They are both very very different cigars, originating from different countries with different climates, soil, tobacco seeds, rolling and fermentation methods. They are both cigars, and are shaped similarly, and happen to both be made under the same name. The smiliarities end there.
