I've still got a box of the old blend in my cooler. Nice smoke for the price.

I've always had a good experience with LVH. Although I have to get over the mixed filler thing when I do. I enjoy a Leather Patch here and there.

My only problem with these is the inconsistancy. Probably due to the mixed fillers, but some of them have great flavors, some are really bad. Never had any burn issues, but I have had a couple that I think had some flavored stuff in them.

Jonathan Drew should stick with the infused cigars where he literally is a genius. These La Vieja Habano are fair sticks at best with quite a bit of inconsistency. If you are looking for this pricepoint you are better off with an Oliva G.

This has been my experience as well. I am not a fan for that reason. If I pay say 4-6 bucks to smoke 2-3 sticks in order to get one LVH that tastes good, then I think I am better off spending $4-6 on one stick that I know I will enjoy. I do enjoy the Drew Estate Chateau line, however. JMHO.

My "go to" daily smokes. I enjoy the taste and have only had a couple with problems in taste, construction or burn issues. For the price these are well worth it...imho.

Thumbs up

I was hesitant to smoke one of these a few years back, only did so at the encouragement from a good BOTL. I'm glad that I did, these are a tremendous smoke! They have definitely been a consistent staple for me. Great plums of smoke, an awesome flavor, not to mention a good draw, an all around good cigar.

I have to agree. I bought a box of these, smoked 3-4 just to make sure it wasn't an anomaly. I wasn't...

I still have a bunch of them sitting in my old tupperdor to see if age will improve them. I also have a couple boxes of Nefasto gathering dust. I went through a phase where I enjoyed the Nasty's and thought "bigger is better". I smoked all but one in the first box and put the other 2 to the side. Maybe one day I'll revisit.

I picked up a couple of these today at a B&M. It's not a bad smoke, I've had better for sure. But I was a little puzzled during the smoke. Not an overbearing smoke, I think I liked the aroma a little better than the flavor, and the burn was a little lopsided, but that could of been my fault. It was a little difficult to get an even burn to start with.

I would buy again (we'll see how the other stick goes). But not bad for the price. It did have a nice oily feel to it, not dry in the least.
