I've only had a coupld of La Finca's and liked them. A pretty enjoyable smoke at a great price. I'll probably have a box of them as soon as I have more room.

Re: La Finca Corona Rated Best In Taste-Cigar Mag.

I smoked La Finca coronas exclusively for 3-4 years during the end of "the boom", until that high CA rating quadrupled the price of them briefly.

In the buck or so a stick price range it is very hard to find a more consistant cigar. They are a constantly good cigar. The flavor and constrution quality has remained pretty constant over the years.

I guess I have become a bit more of a cigar snob than I like to think; because I have a hard time reaching for the good cigars in my humidor when I have soo many great ones..

The La Finca was rated number 4 overall ahead of some cigars that coast four times as much.

I have been smoking the La Finca Fuma Largo and Figurados cigars ever since I picked up this very enjoyable hobby and really can't find a better tasting cigar in the mild to medium range at any price, at least the ones I have smoked so far.

I haven't had a La Finca in....oh six or seven years. I guess I didn't like them enoung to continue to buy them after I smoked what I had. But for another reasonably-priced cigar that's available from the same source, I'd recommend Maria Mancini, especially the Magic Mountian...

I was going to buy a box of these when JR had the Angel100 promo, but someone on another board specifically warned me off of La Finca. Now I'm a little irked at that guy.

Re: La Finca Corona Rated Best In Taste-Cigar Mag.

I ordered five boxes of different La Fincas so I could get the Angel 100's. I like all the La Finca cigars that I have except for the Figurados, they are the most expensive and I like them the least. Anyone up for trading some sticks for the Figurados ?

The Angel 100's are great cigars, I know of several people ordering the Fuma Corta at $18.95 per 25 just to get the Angels, that was a great deal.

"Finca" always makes me think of Finca Vigia, Ernest Hemingway's place in Cuba.

La Finca is a pretty decent smoke, though I never understood the CA rating--it's good, but not THAT good.

The CM rating is a little bit suspect since La Finca is distributed by Cigars by Santa Clara, Lew Rothman's (of JR Cigars) company. I really like CM for the articles, but when 98 percent of the cigars rated by this magazine are in the JR stable, ya gotta wonder.

If I had some sticks to trade you Wbill, I would, but my humi is once again at its empty state.. But I just can't seem to slow down my cigar intake

Re: La Finca Corona Rated Best In Taste-Cigar Mag.

Scott, I have found a way to solve your problem with the empty humidor, just buy four times the amount of cigars you smoke per day. If you smoke five a day than you need to buy twenty sticks a day. In no time at all you will find something good to smoke everytime you open your humi.........It works for me.
