Olivia Line
I was wondering if anyone could give me a little more insight to the Olivia line. I love the O classics. I had a great guy give me a box once
I know that I don't like the bolds. I smoked about half then ended up throwing up.(I know TMI) Now it may of been because I didn't really eat that day or it could of been too strong. I know I won't like the Maduro Any input would be great. I wanted to try some different lines. TIA Kay |

If you don't like the bolds, try the O and G series, just not the maduros. At least not yet. Oliva's website says this about the G: "Serie G is a medium body blend made with authentic African-Cameroon wrapper. The unique flavor notes of theis wrapper are complimented by the natural richness of Nicaraguan Habano fillers.
Blending Notes: Medium body with notes of cedar and coffee Aging: Cameroon is a thin wrapper with little oils, its flavor will changed little from aging." And, Serie O "Serie O is a Nicaraguan Puro. Made in the original Cuban tradition of growing the same Habano seed in diverse regions of the country to produce a distinct blend. This blend was achieved by growing Habano in Esteli, Condega and Jalapa Valley. Blending Notes: Notes of dark tobacco with spice and rich cedar Aging: Puros should be aged at generous humidity levels (70-78%) to preserve the natural oil." I think both these descriptions are accurate and would consider them medium bodied cigars. They are wonderfully constructed, good flavor without being unable to hold your attention. |

As far as the maduros, I like the Gs better than the Os and they are cheaper. The maduro is a fairly mild one but has good taste.

I smoked an O maddie last night. I really enjoyed it and would classify it as medium at best.
IMO, darker wrappers do not necessarily equate to being a stronger cigar. But ALWAYS make sure you have a little something in your stomach before you smoke! Then you can concentrate more on the cigar and less on the queasy feeling. |

I've smoked the O, S, and G lines and I consider them all to be good cigars, but not great. In my opinion, the prices are a little high.
