I have a Cohiba Siglo VI that I am hoping to smoke on New Years Eve or sometime in December. Hard to hang on to it for that long though!

Yes, I've received some great cigars via some very fortunate winnings. I've got a box of Partagas 150s waiting for some unknown event in the future. I've also got a La Gloria Cubana Serie R 2006 Limitada Humidor filled with some great looking sticks that I want to smoke, but don't want to "break" sealed humidor. What to do, what to do?????

I've got a Padron 40th Anni Maduro torpedo being saved for a very special occasion. We are talking maybe engagement in the next few months and I think if she says yes the cigar will have to be burnt!

I have a Padron 1926, a LFD Factory pressed with 1 year of age, and a PSD3. Oh and a cremosa.

In the spring, I ordered a box of Partagas Serie 'D' #1 to split with three BOTLs. Before they arrived, my father passed away and I was in England for his funeral when they were delivered. I decided to keep my fiver and smoke one on the anniversary of his passing each year for five years.

Bought 2 CAO Odysseys when we brought my son home from the hospital (after 115 days in the neonatal ICU). I'll smoke 'em when he's old enough to have one with me.

5th anniversary of that day is next week, will smoke something special that day as well - probably a Shark or a PSD4... or maybe a RyJ EL? Can't decide - suggestions?

My son was born in 2002. I have two Cohibas from the same year I am saving for his 18th birthday. Hopefully all three will age well.

Just send it on over to me. I'll take care of the whole thing for you. I know, I'm a hero among BOTLs, but it's all part of the job.

DanRichmond gave me a Trinidad a while back that I'd been saving, it even had bloom on it! . . . . Frank (tx_tuff) took me to a really nice restaurant in downtown Houston called Vic & Anthony's, where you can not only smoke cigars, but PURCHASE them there. It was an awesome smoke, my first cuban! Oh, and the steak was the best I'd ever had. The company wasn't too bad either.

I'm certainly aging a good many cigars, but I don't know if this qualifies as saving them for a special occasion. The vast majority of them will meet a fiery end on very ordinary days, once they have reached their maturation potential. . I do have one cigar that I have earmarked for a special day. A Cigar Family 10th Anniversary cigar that was gifted to me by a fine BOTL. That cigar shall be smoked on 9/9/07. The day I wed my fiancé'.

Congratulations! It too will meet a fiery end, then, very soon!
