Are You Saving "Special" Cigars?
Are you saving any "Special" cigars for some special occasion? Either something specific or just an event that will justify smoking that special stick?

While I save some for special occasions, I'm not a collector - cigars are made to be smoked....

I have saved some of my best sticks to age until needed... I had one today as a matter of fact! An Ashton ESG from Copenhagen! As I promised, it was the first stick I had at the new house... It was well worth it too!

Now would that be "special" as in GOF types, aged ISOMs, etc. or "special" as in literal dog rockets...

I keep trying to age cigars, but it's this habit I have, see... I tend to smoke the ones I like most and age the ones that I don't have any particular affinity to... so if anyone wants some 05 baccarat or 5 Vegas gold cigars, I'm sure I have some in my coolidor for you...

The one stick I haven't touched is an 06 GOF given by a BOTL on another board. Part of the first "bomb" I've ever received - saving it for my first born, so it's got a couple years to go...

I have had this for a while, it is the '05 box set. Not sure when I will smoke these. I will probably save them for when i have my first kid!!

My wife gave me a couple of Opus X as a wedding present, so I always keep one hidden away for my Anniversary cigar. I like to buy one each fall to save for the next year.

Not that I don't smoke an Opus any other time, but I always have one on October 24.

I have just 2 cigars that I am saving for a some special occasion. ( I know I know just 2, but when I became a bit more afluent = get a job I will start saving more special smokes )

Right now the 2 special ones are: Partagas Lusitania 1998 and Taboada Don Perignon 05 ( considered his best year )
