If you have never had Mexican chocolate, it is very strong containing a high amount of chocolate liquor, very winey. Commonly one buys the chocolate in cakes and it has been processed with sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and sometimes peanuts or almonds. You break off a piece and blend it with hot milk for hot chocolate. That is what the Te Amo maduro tastes like.
So how was the A Turrent? I have yet to smoke one but hear they are quite good. I am glad to see an intrest in mexican tobacco raising again.

The A. Turrent was pretty good. Woody, earthy with spice. Lots of smoke and stronger than I expected. Good construction and a pretty good deal for the price. Picked it up last week on Today's Cigar. The Nicaraguan leaf and the Mexican leaf kind of played off of each other. Didn't really have so much of the Mexican flavor. Mexican tobacco to me has a very earth, woody and wine like flavor. They make great maduros.

I had a RP Sun Grown. Man it was it great. I've only been smoking cigars since last October and this is my favorite so far.

Better late than never....
Started off yesterday with a Gran Habano Connecticut and also had an unknown maduro looking stick from Wookin's blind experiment.
