Arcane subject: cigar band direction

So, I was in the hot tub (or a spa bath for leojvs down under) smoking a little robusto that was gifted to my by one of my B&M smoke buddies from Barlow's in Lafayette, CO. As it got down to the band, I instinctively found the end of the band and peeled it off like I've done hundreds (thousands?) of times.

The thing was, it was totally dark and it got me to thinking that bands always seem to be wrapped the same direction every time. That makes it easy to get the band off if it's tight enough that you can't slide the whole band off and need to peel it. Has anyone seen any sticks that have the bands wrapped the other direction?

I think Cigar made in the southern hemisphere have the bands wrapped the other way.

it seems to me that wraping a cigar band is like wiping your ass. You just always do it the same way. Doesn't matter where you are in the world, the majority of people reach behind there back to wipe, not between their legs. And so it is with cigar bands. I am sure there are a few exceptions.

Nope have come across cigars with the band wrapped the opposite direction, just had one last week or so, but for the life of me can't remember what cigar it was
