And that is why they call it the art of medicine and not the science of medicine. Many doctors disagree on many controversial issues. Even as a cigar lover I have a zero nicotine policy for my heart patients. Many doctors feel that if too strict people can't comply. Your cardiologist would likely fit into that group.
