Lighting with matches - Quick Tip

Just a quick tip for all of you who use long matches to light your cigar.

Store them in your humidor!

We have a RH of 30-40% so it is very dry here, by having the matches at 65-70% really gives you much more time to light your cigar.

Just something I figured out one day.

Are you concerned about the sulfer smell getting in the cigars? Just a thought...

I haven't noticed any smell from the matches I use. I don't know what thet are made of but they are intended for cigars and pipes.

I have them in my desktop humidor where I have my cheaper smokes and sticks on the deathrow

Maybe we're on to a new cigar accessory here. A humidor just for matches: the Matchador...
