I have some that were a bit rough when I got them, I am hopeing a few years might mellow them out and take away that "green" taste.

I have some high end Feunte products I have been ageing for about a year now. Expect to smoke them all within the next year. Don't have enough humi space to store things for more than 2 years and don't think I could hold out that long anyways

I don't have room in my 25ct humidor for long term aging. However I'm getting a bigger humidor soon so I hope to be able to.

My aging is only because I haven't had a chance to smoke em yet!

Wow...I am shocked by the amount of people who do not intend on aging.

For those who don't currently do it, give it a try! For at least a year or two, you don't know what you're missing!

It's not that I do not want to age them, it's that they call out and beg to be smoked NOW. nsure:

I do have some that will not be smoked for several years, or at least only periodically throughout the years. But I don't have boxes marked "do not open till ..."
I'd have to guess that everything I buy is intended to be smoked within 5 years, so I don't look at that as aging.

I am with Bob except for the fact that I DO look at cigars being aged between 2-5 years is long term. That is actually PEAK time for MANY brands. I forsee my habanos collection pushing closer to the 5 year mark and even pass that....but many countries peak at 2 years. I too do not have boxes that are sealed up with a DO NOT OPEN note attached...if I want it...I'll smoke it. And its better to try sticks you never had before in intervals to see if aging does really help that particular cigar. You can try one every 6 months, or maybe once a year.

High end Fuentes such as Opus, Anejos and BTLs, although the Anejos are better fresh for me. Go figure...

Low end Padrons (x000, londres, etc)
Tat East coast could use some age.
LG Chisel puro
LFD Especiale
AVO 80th

Most of the Pepin stuff such as the Padilla 1932 and PAM/26' Serie are ready to smoke now, so no point for me to age them.

I always buy some boxes with the intent to age - mostly Cubans for more than five years. The problem for me is not taking the first cigar out of the box. Once I do that - the box has no chance.. Long term for me is definitely 5+ years. but I have a few with two or three that are vastly different than when fresh
