A Bomb can cost you some roses!

I stepped into my house from fighting fire in Georgia with bags in hand. My girlfriend came up and gave me a kiss and a big hug. I dropped my bags kissed and hugged her back. As I was hugging her I see a pile of mail on the coffee table that I was expecting to see. I saw thru the junk mail and bills to see a box. A box that was a perfect size for a… BOMB!!! Still in the brace I try to grab the box with one hand. Damn… too far. Standing there thinking of a way to get to the bomb I whisper sweet nothings into her ear to distract her. I franticly look around for some way to get the bomb. And there was my four legged answer. My dog standing there with his regular stupid look on his face. First I just motioned with my hand for him to retrieve the bomb. No movement from the dog. Then I lipped the words, Get the bomb boy. Forgetting I was in the brace I accidently whispered the words into my girlfriends ear! She looked back at the dog that didn’t move the entire time, and then the bomb. Before I could grab the bomb she snatched it up along with my new Cigar Aficionado mag that was sitting below it! She stood there with one hand on her hip and the other hand was holding my bomb and Mag. Her eyes were narrow with a scower on her face that could cut any mans soul in half. Is this more important than me? A bomb from your CigarLive buddies! She said with a might. I told her that I have to get them in the humi as soon as possible. They could dry out. With that she tossed me the bomb and stomped out of the room telling me I couldn’t have my Cigar Aficionado until I apologized. There I was standing in the living room. Me, my bomb and my dog still staring at me with a stupid look on his face. Moral of the story… Don’t trust your girlfriend and “mans best friend” for a good cigar. Only you friends at Cigar Live… (Thanks for the bomb Chango.)

My wife gets super jealous because I have packages coming to the house all the time. I Guess I should bomb her one of these days so she feels special?

on a side note-I completely play it off like it's nothing till she goes to the bathroom or walks the dog. Then I run frantically to the box rip it open and take in the beautiful smells!
