I changed an Oust fan battery just last week; it ran for about 4 months before it needed to be replaced.

And I never add any water or such to my humidor. Houston is RH-Friendly... <G>

Just an FYI - I bought a little battery powered fan that runs on two D-Cell batteries that is sold as a "RV Refrigerator air circulator" at Walmart. It has a little 2 inch diameter squirrel-cage fan in it that really works nice. It has been running for a few weeks. It is supposed to last about a month or so on a set of batteries (I get mine at the dollar store). It moves quite a bit more air than the Oust, but costs a little more - about $12 at WalMart.
