Indirectly: I find that Dr. Pepper is the best soda for cigars and it is hard to beat a fresh, dark espresso. Of course there is the risk of overpowering the cigar but since I like strong cigars it usually works for me. WHen doing reviews though I stick to water so that I can give the most detailed reviews to my buddies on the boards.

Interesting that you have Dr. Pepper in England. Here in Texas it is pervasive as it originated in Waco, Texas. I've toured the museum there and they have a nice soda fountain at the end of the tour.

There's even a Dr. Pepper bottler in Dublin, Texas that still uses pure cane sugar and glass bottles and has quite a cult following as well. Dr. Pepper is a religion here in Texas.

i find that Canada Dry goes very well with any mild stick, especially perdomos...

Glad to hear it. I'm going to be in TX for the RTDA show in a couple weeks so hopefully I'll be able to get some fresh Dr. Pepper. Ya, they have Dr Pepper here. I was surprised by that but pleased. I always liked it when I grew up in Minnesota and it is a great partner for a spicy cigar.
