john,'
incredibly up. so far up you can't see the top. it has been proven many times that the cameroon is the mightiest of all wrappers. wouldn't you be the best if you had to struggle to survive against elephants, rhinos, cheetas, hyenas, and countless other creatures. i am joking but for real the cameroon wrapper provides a full tobacco taste that is really unparalleled. i say this while smoking a cx2. my favorite smoke. double the cameroon. its a killer straight tobacco taste unfiltered by stupid peppery or floral notes. the aroma is freakin tasty goodness. the smoke is the way a cigar should be. john, before you write off the cameroon try a cx2. or a h.upmann ceder. you will be surprised with the flavors you find. i am very vocal on the cameroons. do not underestimate them. they could beat the Connecticuts in a cage match in seconds.

the single is nothing compared to the cx2. it is a beast worthy of the 12 dollar pricetag. i don't think that there are many cigars that warrant this kind of attention.

i quote padron when i say that spice shouldn't be in a cigars palate. correctly cured cameroon should give you the best tobacco flavor imaginable. just so everybody knows, the cameroon wrapper is the rarest tobacco on the earth.

Just to throw something into this late in the game, the La Unica Cameroons are great.

I love natural wrappers, and Cameroons are just about the best. Stronger than Connecticut shades, with more flavor. But the wrapper is just the wrapper - important, but there is more to the cigar than the wrapper. A decent cigar with a Cameroon wrapper becomes a great cigar. Gold plated crap is still crap.

I had one of those the other day! Very good balanced cigar. Kind of expensive though.
