I have one sitting in the humidor that wants to be smoked. Maybe I'll try it this weekend?

No problem. Seeing as you are in Chicago, you should have them Tuesday or Wednesday.

I smoked one a couple nights ago. Very good. Good-looking wrapper, and plenty of flavor, as far as I'm concerned. Had one slight burn problem, maybe because I was smoking slow. I still have another in my humi, thanks to you, Wingfan.

BadMormon you finally "forced" me into smoking the Expedition that I had in the humidor. The robusto wasn't a bad cigar. The cap split when I cut it but the cigar didn't unravel. The smoke was consistent and had a toasty/buttery/nutty flavor. It was a bit mild for me but still tasty. Not a great cigar -- probably a bit above average. I also had a burn problem near the end but the wind was picking up and that could be it. I don't think I would ever buy a box but I wouldn't hesitate to pick up a single now and then when I'm in the mood for a milder cigar.

I have smoked a handful and completely agree on the buttery/nutty flavors but I would call it more mild than medium. I consistently have burn problems w/ them but nothing severe. I was able to get the Toro at about 2 dollars a stick so who can complain?
Another thing that strikes me is the variation in flavor from one to the next. I have sampled them over at least a 9 month period and the variations in them from one day to the next is what sticks out in my mind and I am not saying it's a good thing.
