You think you feel like a wimp with that?

I had a Montecristo White the other day and had to go home and take a nap. I even tried to pace it out (to the point of needing to re-light several times), but I didn't have anything to drink with me as I was in a cigar shop (not lounge). This was the first time I smoked a cigar without having some sort of drink with me (usually I have something else that I can blame the buzz on). I've learned my lesson - don't smoke a stogie without something to sip on.

yes, this has happened to me as well.... I posted about it and the advice I got was great... eat a good meal before smoking, AND have some type of sugar available (choc, cubes, etc) :eeek:

Like I said it happens to the best of them. My first Oliva serie V was a 60 ring toro. The thing look so good I had to smoke it. It tried to man handle me in the louge of a local B&M, but not being one to waste a good cigar .... I slipped some water and fought through it. Never let them see you sweat ... lol

The same has happened to me in the past, although not in a while. I usually try to have some water with a cigar, which I think helps. The "shots" of sugar/other sugarladen foods seems to work, and I'll throw one more in. I have been known to grab a spoonful of peanut butter and that helps me.
