Helix Natural

So there I was, at the downtown wine walk, and 3/4 of the way through I wanted a cigar and the pickings were slim but they had a helix natural and a cigar cabinet they claimed was properly set.

Darn, dude. It was not strong, it was not harsh, but it was smooth and nice. Some womenz felt the need to tell me it smelled nice, even though I was drinking with my wife...and it was truely a nice smooth smoke.

Nice stuff. For a bar cigar this was the way to go.

I call this brand, in natural wrapper, a bar cigar.

Definitely a nice mild cigar that is not mentioned often. Even the maduro version is nice...medium body.

I have had problems with the cap cracking while punching it, on three different cigars. Yes the humidity was at 67% with a temp of 75. Yes the hole punch was new. I just think the oil levels in the tobacco was low. But I smoked them anyway. They were a little to mild for me. But it was a good cigar.

They are a nice, mild smoke with decent flavor. I have a couple of the 550s in natural and maduro in my humi. I bought those to give out as the "It's A Boy" stogies My friends liked them well enough. I bought a great Punch, placed it into the Helix tubo, and smoked that instead of the Helix while we were gathered around my garage and shed.

I like the maduro, but the last time I had the natural, I did not pick up any flavor. Granted that was about 3 years ago, so I will give it another try. I think I have a few in my humidor.
