Here's the Hondurans:

I wonder how they compare to Flor de Oliva.

If you like the Flor de Oliva than just stick with it. I wouldn't think a dollar a stick cigar could be that good. But I haven't tried them.

I strive to try as many different cigars as possible, so my opinion is totally different.
Not so fun to stick to one cigar, I like diversity.

Not much to loose and you can split them with someone or send them forward if you don't like them yourself.

If you have the spare space and cash, go for it!

They could end up being a very good smoke for the price and end up as one of your new favorites.
Or dog rockets.
No way to know if nobody has tried them.

Oh don't get me wrong, I in no way what so ever, am saying smoke one cigar and only one cigar so don't try something new! I'm just saying if you have a bundle cigar you already like why waste $50 on something your not sure about. I guess one reason I would think that way is because I don't have alot of place to store 50 cigars just to try something new and if I didn't like them i would be stuck with them. I don't send dog rockets to other people just because I don't want somebody sending me dog rockets!

That makes good sense to me. If I could buy a single or a fiver, that would be different: it wouldn't take up all that space, and it wouldn't cost much.

Speaking of cheap cigars: Binneys is a chain of liquor stores around here, and they have their own hand-rolled Hondurans. One time I bought one. It had a sweetness to it like the leaves had been dipped in sacharin. Remember before the days of Nutrasweet, when diet sodas had sacharin? Drew Estate Java I can handle, but this was like a whole new level of sweetness. Not my cuppa tea. Oh, well, only $1.50. Chalk it up to experience.

I don't have the space either right now but if I had a lot of space then why not?
Another ones trash is another ones treasure, $50 isn't that much so if you don't like them I see no reason why you couldn't send 10 cigars to 5 people, I would think there would be people wanting to try for themselves if they like them or not.

Bombing them to people is a different thing of course. If you tell your opinion and ask if someone wants to try them, what is the harm?

WOW....blast from the past. I actually came up with the band idea for those...LONG TIME AGO when I started off in Chicago working for them right out of college. I didn't know they were going to use it for a 1$ stick though....BTW...I have no affiliation with .com companies anymore that sell cigars.

If you're looking for a cheap stick,
try the Tropical Fever Torpedito at Holt's.

I've heard alot of positive feedback and reviews about them and can personally recommend them as a great cheap smoke..

i have had the cigar.com purple lable and the cameroon. i paid about $48 (+ shipping) for 20 sticks a few years back when i started buying off the internet. they were not a bad smoke but i remember they were very loose (soft). i personally think thay were overpriced and cigar.com is overpriced. with that being said what kind of smoke are you going to get for a buck a stick from them? personally i would not buy that many unless i had a good review from someone that shared my taste. just my 2 cents.
