Bahia Gold #2 - some notes

I tried the Bahia Gold #2 last night.



Taste: Awesome. Fit my taste buds to a tee. Hinted of leather and grass. Sweeter than most cigars. Very smooth, and got smoother as I smoked it. Abundant tobacco flavor. I normally don't pick up much flavor on the draw, but this one had flavor when drawing.

Smoke: Lots of smoke and it smells great.

Appearance: 6 1/2" x 54 r.g., with a pointed cap. Beautiful. Some medium sized veins in the wrapper, but I think that gives it character. It tapered out ever so slightly towards the foot, so the foot end was a little larger.

Burn: Very good burn line all the way.

Draw: G*ddam, m*therf^$@|ng sunofab|tch stupid piece of %#@*!!! To be more specifiic, it tightened up halfway through. I found a vein in the middle, and pulled it out. That fixed the draw problem, but it also messed up the flavor. I need to get myself a draw tool.

Overall Body: Mild, even for me.

Assuming that the bad draw was just a fluke, I would buy another one. It would be a nice gift, or something to smoke on special occasions.
