Religious Experience

First, this isn't some crazy post attempting to recruit anyone into a cult. Chances are, if you're reading this you ALREADY ARE a member of this cult. I know for sure that I've wholeheartedly bought into it!! The stogie demon owns me!!!

Seriously, I've found that every once in a while(usually while I'm enjoying a tasty beverage, like tonight...) the smoking experience inexplicably rises to a "higher level". I cruise into a zone of complete calm and relaxation that otherwise is unattainable. In other words, I feel GREAT(even if I'm in a bad mood?) But it can't just be written off to being a simple buzz, because this is not something I can cause to happen; rather, it's the whole experience...the flavor, the feel of the cigar in my hand, the atmosphere around me, etc. It just happens.

Tonight, for example, I just rolled into my favorite local bar, started sipping some Wild Turkey, and lit up a Punch Rothschild. The cigar was pretty good, by far not my favorite though. But as I worked my way into it the experience took over and I just enjoyed. Sipping, Smoking, and Thinking. It was amazing. I obviously had no say in this...the demon had already decided that this specific experience WOULD BE superior!!!

It's smokes like tonight that make it all worthwhile.

Should I see a shrink? Or just light up another cigar?

Try to find a shrink with a fat humidor and you should be covered!
Keep the faith.
Amen

I feel your joy, although I prefer to be at home with a few glasses of whatever I happen to have, light up a robusto of my choice and put on some mood music and begin to feel Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal nice. About as close as you can legally get to being
