Guapo woes..

Had my first Cabaiguan Guapo the other day..and the wrapper just started breaking apart...peeling away from the filler..I noticed that the wrapper on these cigars is very thin and delicate..It had been sitting in my humi for about a week after my shipment arrived..Just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience with the guapo..
Thanks,
Rob

I had one on the weekend and it burned fine. I wasn't overwhelmed by the flavors, however. I much prefer the Tatuaje Havana VI Verocu for around the same price.

I've probably smoked about two boxes of those... I had a little bit of burn troubles in about two of the cigars. Other than that they burned fine...What's your humi RH at?

I tend to keep my humi at about 65%..I really like my Cubans at that RH..I've been considering having one of my humi's at a highter RH for non-cubans..

I have two, haven't smoked them yet. But when I picked them up the B&M only had three and the reason I didn't get the third one was because the wrapper was cracked very badly.

That's too bad. I was really looking forward to trying these. I guess I will think twice about my order.

I feel your pain Rob....I was VERY EXCITED about the Guapo and look at what happened with my first one!!! it basically split up the middle as I was smoking it and then it completely opened up. The draw was pretty tight as well. I am guessing this is just a bad stick since I have heard many good things about them and being 2 boxes deep with them....I HOPE SO! LOL

that is sick. I am now kind of not looking forward to getting my hands on some. You always hear of a few doing this but when more than one people state the same thing...hmmm....

Man that sucks! Hopefully it was just a fluke stick.

Mario I told you that you got to stop stepping on your cigars.
It in no way helps improve a bad draw.

You know of course, this means I will have to pull one of these bad boys outta my humi to see how it smokes. I am hoping some rest and relaxation has improved their temperament, and they won't want to split on me.

Had a couple with no burn problems. Those pics look like a firecracker went off in them, looks like some serious problems.
