Spanish Galleon Bundle

I got some "free" Spanish Galleon Cameroon churchills from Atlantic recently. This turned out to be a pretty decent cigar - I appreciated the fact that it was fully wrapped in cedar and had a pretty nice flavor - certainly in line with the quality of similar Cameroon wrapped bundles such as the Flor de Oliva Cammie. Has anyone tried any of the other Spanish Galleon varieties? Maduro or Natural?

Nope but after that endorsement I might. I went out and picked up some of the Flor De Oliva Maduro's the other day after chatting with you and they are really a good smoke, for less than $2 at the B&M cannot go wrong there.

The Spanish Galleons (10 pack) were "free" with my purchase of a box of cigars - namely the Oliva Serie V. I nubbed it, so I guess that is an endorsement! These are roughly $1.50 a piece. I'd say they are definitely worth a try.

Equus Cigar Company in the Dominican Republic. Stogie Review had a review of one of their other cigars (Equus Triple Ligero), and apparently it was awful. I can only speak to this one - the Spanish Galleon Cammie - which I found to be good.

It would have only been funnier if he had actually spewed on camera! LOL! I've never had that reaction to a cigar. Poor guy really tried to get through the review...gotta hand it to him for his stick-to-it-ivness.

There have been two cigars that I just could not smoke, and I know some people like them...the Drew Estate Dirt...and the CI Legends Copper (also a Drew Estate). But I never almost hurled from them.

I, too, got some freebies from Atlantic when I ordered some CAO's and am smoking it right now. It has been a pleasant surprise and I am thinking of ordering a bundle right now. Good smoke, good burn, very mild and smooth! That's it...am ordering a bundle!
Best,
ylo2na

also the equus he tried was a cameroon, he states he doesn't like cameroon....i don't like peas, if a ate a meal with peas it would get a bad review....anyways the Equus maduros are very very good, i would say they have a similar flavor profile to Padron, a nice earthy chocolaty flavor. both cigars are Atlantic Cigars house blend

update on my order of the Spanish Galleons....called Atlantic Cigar and they are back-ordered 2 to 3 weeks on this line. They cant keep them in stock, so, I placed a 4 box order for both the torpedo and toro. I think they are that good! Also, searched the net like crazy to see if anyone else carries them and I couldnt find a site that does. Any one have any knowledge of another site other than Atlantic, please let me know!
Best,
ylo2na
