Hints of Popcorn?

I've gotten this in a few cigars. Anyone else? Tonights cigar, a Graycliff, and the AVO 787. Maybe my taste is off but I get what I swear is a popcorn flavor on every few puffs.

Never had popcorn, everything has been tasting like crap lately for me. I think it's because I have been using a regular lighter. That's the only thing I can think of.

You're not alone Jesse...I have gotten the popcorn flavour as well. It was on a RASCC that I smoked. Here's where I described it:

I believe that there was another cigar that I picked out a popcorn flavour as well, but I can't remember which one it was.

Jack..what model/label Graycliff was it? The Crystals have that Greek leaf in them, which adds a different spice, in my experience..
