Still more cigar bands

Another major update to my cigar bands pages. http://www.stogiefresh.com/cigar_ban...e/Bands_1.html

We are now up to 163 bands on 4 pages. Latest bands added: Gurkha, Cuban Bullet, Don Juan, Trilogy Corojo, Sosa, La Aurora Gold, Avo Maduro, Garo Nouveau Jazz, Partagas Cifuentes, Oliveros Gran Reserva, Cordova, La Carolina, Montecristo Serie V, Genuine Counterfeit Cuban, Garo Maduro, National Brand Sungrown, Cosmo, Ashton VSG, Perdomo Reserva Cuban Café.

My thanks to a BOTL who not only sent me more bands, but also sent me 3 CDs of blues music. It was so cool, last night I was digitizing bands and listening to some kick a$$ blues.

One favor for all you BOTLs, if you have a chance, could you look over the bands and let me know if I've titled them correctly. I haven't smoked all the cigars represented by the bands. Even though I have done my homework, some mistakes might be slipping through. One astute BOTL caught a mistake last week.

Thanks,

Doc

Geeez yeah! I forgot to credit RJT who sent some bands awhile back. Thanks RJT! Between you and my other bud from a different forum, you guys are responsible for at least half of the bands. Well done gentlemen. Keep smokin'!

Re: Still more cigar bands

Doc, that is an excellant idea. I like it so much I would like to try to do this myself. Are you finding the bands yourself or are you taking pictures of them? Reason I like it is because it would be relatively easy to make them clickable and then from there link to my thoughts/notes on the cigar itself. Please let me know....

The bands have come from different sources. I have some and other BOTLs, like RJT, have sent me some. When I get them, I scan them at high resolution and clean them up in Photoshop. I then downsample the images for use on the web. I use them in my cigar inventory database, along with photos of the cigars. I keep my notes and reviews of the cigars in my database.

Ahhh scanning them. Makes sense... A true web developer talking there.
