Lars Tetens

Does anyone have an opinion on Lars Tetans cigars? I have been approached by his rep to carry his cigars, and I'm unsure. His website is crazy- the man makes skateboards, oil painings, clothes, furniture, jewelry, taffy, cigars and more. I mean, can any one person really be good at all of those things? Everything he makes he claims to have done since he was like seven years old and to be some sort of master at. Is this a "jack of all trades, master of none" situation?

Maybe it's true, what do you think of his cigars?

This is only my humble opinion... but if in your line of cigars, you have one so aptly named... "air catcher". I think I might pass on this one. But what do I know, I'm an admitted idiot.... so take that for what it's worth!

BigBuddah76 may have an opinion on these more experienced than mine, as I remember he has carried them back when he had a store... That being said, the couple of cigars of his that I have had were all hype and very expensive. MHO.

I'd stay away from them. I've heard some things about some of his business practices that left me slightly concerned on top that I think if you are going to sell flavored cigars stick with Heavenly and ACIDS. My wife tried a couple of the Heavenly cigars and really enjoyed them.

Back in the day I had a few and if you could handle the infused element
they were actually pretty good cigars. If I were to compare them with
the Acid cigars I've had I'd say that the Lars Teten would mop the floor with
Acid.

I'm gonna have to take Nick's side on this one.
10-12 years ago, Lars were the shit! Expensive, yes. I used to smoke Royals, Shortys, Musashi, etc..they were 12 bux minimum BACK THEN! They had a lot of flavor to them, again, if you could deal with the infused elements.
He is an eclectic cat, to be sure, but he did make some good smokes back in the day...

i used to work at a shop in a mall near by(don't agree with having a shop in a mall when the owner is too cheap to put a smoking section in)...acid, heavenly, naturals anything like that will sell well with of course your younger customers and some of the more "interesting" customers if ya know what i am saying haha. but to tell you the truth it was very disappointing having someone come in and ask for a flavored cigars sometimes i wanted to tell them they are not allowed to buy anything flavored and to try something new...but when you are working on commission a sale is one step closer to getting paid more you shouldn't worry about what they r buying but i did haha

My territory is Texas, Ok, Arkansas and LA....out of the 4 states, only one of my accounts carries Lars. If you do carry lars, your closest competition is in Oklahoma.

Wow, universally hated. I guess that answers that.

Upon viewing their packaging, I had my doubts, but the only one I've ever had was the Gorilla Finger, which I was not a fan of, but I can't pass judgment without having had more of his line. But I'm glad y'all can!
