How do you explain your hobby to your wife?

When my wife gripes about my cigars, I bring up the fact that I don't go out to bars, I don't drink more than a 6 pack a week, and I'm not a gambler or spend money on anything else. Out of all our friends, I'm the only one home every night, including weekends and I don't have any vices other than cigars. I enjoy a cigar on my deck, in my garage, or in my shed. My wife likes to pick out my nightly smokes when she sits with me. She actually buys them for me when she goes to certain shoppes that also sell cigars.

Cigars are cheaper than counseling, divorce, or gambling.

I didnt have to do any explaining to my wife....my father-in-law laid the tracks for me years ago. He has been smoking them for 50 years......she has been around cigars her whole life.

do something nice for her right befor you know something is on the way, flowers laundry dishes anything. If you throw the first nice deed she might get irritated but you will soon be forgiven.
