Ghurka Shaggy

So I'm sitting here smoking my first Ghurka Shaggy. Great cigar so far but the first part kind of disturbed me. Has anyone else noticed that when you light up the "shaggy" end that after it burns and turns to gray and black ash that it kind of resembles Don King's hair?

haha no i have not noticed that.

It's one of my favorite cigars though. It'll be great at the beginning... then mellow out and just at the point you might start getting bored with it the flavor bounces back with full force.

Had one of these at Charlie's last week - not a bad smoke. I've always found cigars with a shaggy foot to be different. Jumpin Johnny sent me a Graycliffe shaggy a while back. Same deal - the "shag" burns off pretty quickly and leaves an interesting ash.

I really enjoy the Gurkha Shaggy....also recently had a Gurkha Legend....both very good cigars

I have not smoked a lot of the Gurkha's, but I really like the shaggy. I will watch next time I fire one up for the Don King phenomenon.
