Enjoying Cuban Crafters Cabinet Selection Churchill

Hi, I just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying the Cabinet Selection churchills. I split a box with another member here on Cigar Live and after sitting just a few months in the humi, they have become really satisfying smokes. Keep up the good work!

Is there another blend in your lineup that has similar strength, but with a little more cubanesque spice?

I'll have to get these some time. These are favorites of Doc Stogie Fresh - he really can't say enough good things about these.

Good morning John. Thank you for your post and comments. We love those Cuban Crafters Cabinet Selection Churchills, and you are right, they do get better with time. Similar, depending on strenght I will say J.L. Salazar's and if more strength is requiered...Don Kiki Browns. Salazar has more finese, but those DK Browns got some kick to them. Then again...John, it is a matter of taste. Let me see if I can come up with something for you guys.

In the meantime, wish you all a wonderful Xmas and a healthy and prosperous New Years...with plenty of smokes to enjoy!!

nice lil review. I can say that I believe that I have never tried a Crafter/Salazar(long standing joke on another site about this name)..Alberto, I'd be glad to fill you in on it in private. I might have to look around to trade for a couple of these.

Hi Coach,
I know...it's been a while since you wrote your comments, but it is until now that I read it. I would like to hear all about the long standing joke. Alberto Noguera, Cuban Crafters

want to say something about the JL Salazars....stumbled upon them after reading a good account, so there was a sale on them on the net. It was about $30 less than Cuban Crafters were offering for same cigar, so, I called them. They agreed it was their ad and honored that price for me. Bought 3 boxes and am not sorry at all. Great smoke and I plan on always keeping these in my humidor. Now, for the Cuban Crafter Churchills...seems like they are calling me, too!
Best
Also, I must say that just about every positive recommendation about cigars by CL members has held to be right, regardless of price, for me. When I decided to order the sticks based upon their posts, I havent gone wrong ever. The closest was the Don Kikki Green, but Milt Johnson told me to give it another try and wooooooooooooow! Ordered 3 more bundles of the Golfer Special immediately...I am hooked!

How would you describe the Cuban Crafters Cameroon? Is it basically the same cigar as the Cabinet Selection with a Cameroon wrapper? I like Cameroon, but I tend to like the Cameroons that are not extremely spicy. Some just are too much.

I decided to buy a box of the J.L. Salazar Y Hermanos Reserva Especial Toros and a box of the Cuban Crafters Cameroon Churchills. I'll let you know what I think. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks Alberto! I am smoking my first J. L. Salazar fresh off the delivery truck. What a nice cigar! I am definitely enjoying it. This is the kind of taste I am after in a cigar. I think a bit more strength might be okay, so I might just have to reel in a few of those Don Kiki browns. What's a good vitola in that line? Next up tonight will be the Cuban Crafters Cameroon.

RE: The JL Salazar...Pretty dang good. I like this style of cigar. Real rich and keeps your interest. I didn't even wait for this cigar to warm up or rest from its journey...it might get even better with a few months of rest.

I guess it my be my cigar snobbery but I really find most of these smokes horrible.
I adore the cabinet I bought from the lovely people at CC but the smokes aren't up my alley.
