When I got home from work, I had picked up my son from the daycare and saw there was a package on the porch. I tried, unsuccessfully, to take the diaper bag, his car seat, my briefcase, and the box inside. All this time, the tornado sirens are going off and we're having gusts at 60+ mph. Well, something had to get dropped so I dropped the box and hurried my boy inside. I put him downstairs in the bathroom and when I went back for the box, from Taboo Cigars, it was gone. Instead of looking for the box with the winds blowing shit all over the place, I closed the garage door and went downstairs with my boy and the dogs. After the tornado sirens stopped, 20 minutes later, the box was nowhere to be found. I searched all over the neighborhood and everywhere I could think of. It was only 20 cigars, but that was $120 worth of goodness. Oh well, luckily everyone is safe and the tornados only blew stuff around a lot.

Thanks, Chris Yeah, we're good and the boy was having a blast in the wind. He didn't freak out because of the tornado alarms at all and fell asleep while I was holding him. I was looking forward to the Chisels and Cuesta Ray Sungrowns, but it's just $ and I could have been dumb and tried to save the cigars with Moose out in the storm

That stinks, you were talking about those this weekend. Anyway, at least you and your house and son are ok, that's what's important. I think the storms have passed here with nothing major! Still cannot belive it is 62 at 7 pm on Jan 7th!

Yeah, it's nuts outside. When I got out of the Exploder, for a brief moment the wind stopped and everything was really calm. I knew it was time to get inside. In hindsight, I should have kicked the box into the garage and then shut the door, but I was worried about Moose. Oh well, funny shit happens all the time.

My neighbor was barbequing chicken He lost all the hair from his hand, but he still had great bbq in January while it was lightening and thundering like crazy.
