I just was looking at these and they seem to get good reviews based opon the price of under $2 per stick. I know it is a sandwich, but I'm sure a Pepin cuban sandwich is pretty good! just curious.

I know, the series P is a good smoke, so these might be ok. I guess if you take the clippings from really good cigars, you'll get a pretty good smoke.

I have read on another board that they are very good and well worth the $2 price tag. I have not had them myself.

Just because one sandwich cigar is good doesn't mean that it can be compared to another. A sandwich cigar is simply a cigar that has short/medium filler mixed with long filler tobacco.

I know about the sandwich, but I would guess coming from the same factory would mean something. I'm going to try these out, and what the heck at $1.81 a cigar, if they are bad no biggie!

I lov'em and have smoked three boxes through the summer and fall. They burn exceptionally well. I did not believe they were sandwiches so i cut one open and it did have a little loose leaf in it, but the ash really hangs on.

Same here. I prefer my sandwiches on rye with lots of corned beef but hey, I'll try almost anything once.

Ah, good to know. I've had mixed experiences with DPG's mixed fill stuff. The cigar.com "Corojo Label" burns and draws well, while I had probs with the Tat Serie P. I'll have to give these Fumadores a shot.
