Red face Cigars kicking my butt

Yesterday I was on my patio smoking a Padron 1964 Anniversary and got so buzzed. I went back upstairs feeling woozy, lightheaded, and kind of drunk. I kept trying to get up so I could crawl into bed, but I felt too weak and ended up passing out on the couch LOL This tends to happen when I have a more full bodied smoke. Does this happen to anyone else?

When I first started smoking cigars, I found that I got light headed with full bodied cigars. The first Cohiba Siglo 1 I smoked did that to me(Although thats not really a very full bodied cigar, I just think I smoked too many in one day ) But I dont really find that anymore

I wish, that would be awesome. Sometimes I get a little buz, but listening to your story I've been getting the shaft.

Not really, It sucks hitting the floor. It's happened to me 5 times. Being new to this I just forget to eat. I have even been to the doc about it and couldn't find anything. It hits fast and hard about half way thru.

A couple of times. Apparently smoking too fast? Hell of a feeling, though.

Being a relatively new cigar smoker, I've been enjoying some full bodied smokes as of late, including the Padron 1964 Anniversary, and haven't been "buzzed" yet. Maybe it's my regular Jack Daniels habit that's toughened me up a bit .

Maybe I need to smoke this one to get a proper buzz:

I pulled this out of the depths of my humidor ... I'm scared of this one.

I find that I can still get 'hit' by strong cigars if I smoke one early in the day or haven't eaten in a while, but I do like the flavor of the stronger sticks.

When I first started smoking, I had an opus X put such a hurting on me one afternoon, that I almost stopped smoking altogether. Then I realized I just needed to go back to more mild sticks for a while

Yesenia,

I'll have to keep you away from the bar in the DR, after the 5or 6 cigars a day you won't need a drink.
Love those Padron Aniv.

I have felt that way after certain full body smokes......to the point of nausea in some cases.....the very first Cuban full body stick I ever had put me in bed for a whole day......I find that smoking maduros and other dark cigars outside helps a bit......

Yup had a padron exclusivo in the am after a cappuccino and only noticed a wooziness when I tried to get up. Lesson learned: eat breakfast before having large amounts of caffeine and nicotine in one sitting.
