i just got rid of my oasis and now have the heartfelt beads. the beads are working fine. if you measure your humi there is a calculator on the site telling you how many beads you need

I've got a pound of heartfelt in my fridgedor...
So here's the question...what do y'all do about the dust from the heartfelt beads? I have mine hanging from a bag in mine, but there's a layer of dust on the bottom that has re-appeared a couple of times...

sofaman, i think we will have similar set ups then. i am hoping that this works out well. they should be delivered tomorrow or friday this week. this morning i was at 68% humi. i am hoping to maintain this humidity and not open it until i get the beads ready.
jitsy, i will try one of those oust fans for some more circulation. thanks for the advice everybody. cigar live rules. |

the beads came today, i charged them up, dropped them in the bead net, doctored up a tupperware bin, and dropped them into the humidor. we'll see in a bit if these guys can take the pepsi challenge. all together i dropped 22 dollars into this humidity change up. i think once i put a fan or two in i will be on the right track.

I have a couple oasis XLs running in my 1500 humi. They run best when full, but then seem to lag a bit when the top of the foam dries out. I've heard of people replacing the foam with beads. Anyone try this?

Seems to me that I have read the same thing somewhere else but I am not sure where. I guess it wouldn't hurt.
