oasis? Active humidi

I know what you mean I am taking a cigar everyday and on the weekends 2 my oasis needs to filled with distilled water every 2 weeks or the fan runs constantly

they advertize a years worth of service maintenance free. i think thats wishful thinking.

I imagine it's like gas mileage ratings for cars...

To get that perfect gas mileage, it's only at it's sweet spot, probably 60-65 mph, no AC, no radio, no lights and on a completely flat area with no variation in peddle power...

I'm sure in the right humi it probably could go a year without maintenance...but it's gotta be that just right desktop humi, made to almost perfection with absolutely no leakage

i think you get a years worth of service if you put it in a walk in humidor that has a moisten-air humidifier running...

I agree there great and i am sure they will last years as long as you never open the humidor but i cant complain its better then the gel and a sponge never tried the beads but so far so good
